Project contribution to alleviate poverty and improve livelihood of the poorest families in target communities
Implementation of Education and Livelihood Improvement of Children in Rural Areas in Sotra Nikum and Puok districts in Siem Reap province, Sahakum Sopheakmongkol Association, with financial support from Fondazione Apsara Onlus, got old and ruined classroom, doors, windows repaired, supported with learning, and pedagogical materials, hygiene materials and playground for children in pre and primary schools. Moreover, the association also provided small grant package to the poorest families in target areas for earning incomes through pig raising, laundry, basket waving, fruit selling and groceries.
