We, SSA’s team, would like to share our sadness and condolence with family of Ky Samphy, Executive Director of Sahakum Sopheakmongkol Association, who passed away on Febuary 7, 2021 at her birth place in Prek Taduong village, Prek Thmei commune, Koh Thom district, Kandal province.
Thanks to her nature of sharing knowledge, supporting the development across communities, especially those poorest communities in Cambodia, for more than 20 years, Ky Samphy became renowned in her nation, various ministries and NGOs recognized her work and sacrificed efforts. In addition, because of her well-known reputation, prominent work and good leadership, she was honorably rewarded the medal “chevalier de l'ordre national du mérite” from French government through French embassy in Cambodia.
